My buds and I want to take a day-trip next week to do something super cool in the VA/DC area.
Can anyone suggest anything super awesome? We’ve all lived here for awhile, so all the generic touristy stuff is out. Once, I ended up riding an elephant at a family-owned zoo a few hours upstate, courtesy of a recommendation. Anything is possible.
I personally think it’s hilarious how people are attempting to sell textbooks to fellow students this week.
It’s clearly apparent that, just like you, we’re all broke and hungry. We’re not thinking about buying next semester’s textbooks yet. We don’t want your $85 “steal” from Accounting. We want a burrito.
Trapped in the TARDIS: A Doctor Who Fan-Film
For fans of Doctor Who and R. Kelly (much like myself)
I’m in this as Martha Jones and I think I nailed it~
Totally did.
(just a casual reminder that this is a thing my friends and I made)
Three presentations later and a PBS interview later, I’m finally done with classes this semester.
Instead of treating myself, I immediately came home to curate a LinkedIn page for myself.

bravo tommy
no, bravo darren/kat/shane/randi!
(By the way guys, this is a thing that exists. Doctor Who x R. Kelly. Get on it!)
so, i’m currently in the middle of rounding out a new batch of songs, shooting/editing multiple videos, and getting back into the swing of writing, on top of all my other stuff. i more or less abandoned National Poetry Writing Month accidently, as i always seem to think that I can take on a writing challenge around World Cup for some reason.
today, i had a really great idea for a stream-of-consciousness piece that i ended up forgetting entirely because i wanted to go to the gym. the fringes are dwindling on the corner of my mind, but it’s safe to say that whatever that might have been is gone forever. a shame, to think a piece that might have spurred some thought or given somebody a boost is now lost in a sea of thoughts about video editing, family photos, terrible dessert ideas, and meeting scheduling. in a weird way, i’m bummed about it.
in high school, the most often repeated word that came up in my work was ‘dream’, or a variation of it. now, in college, that word has been replaced with ‘creative’, or one of its variations. i’m not sure if i should blame Austin Kleon for this or if i should start emphasizing more words consciously.
i guess what i’m saying here is that i have a lot going on (go figure), and that i’d like some new ideas, if you’d indulge me. as a great friend once said, “the cure for creative homelessness can easily be found in others.”
also, i could really use a recommendation for places to eat/dishes to try in this town. the same menu, place after place, sure is getting old.
For my WMNS201 final, a few friends and I have started a project called CONSENSE. We’re compiling as many viewpoints as humanly possible on the subject, and want your input! No matter your stance, we want to know your opinion and thoughts! Feel free to answer any or all of the questions below:

I went to WCVI with my team last weekend, and got a lot of great footage. So, I went and made a thing.
Just about everyone from the Mid-Atlantic Region has a cameo in this at one point or another. Trust me. There’s a lot of great stuff here.
