In September, Marvel’s introducing Miles as the new official ‘Spiderman’, after Peter Parker was killed off for good in June. He’s half-black and half-hispanic, with a completely new backstory/mantra to boot.
Not gonna lie, I’m pretty excited for this. It’ll be interesting to see how they revamp the series.
Woahhh. Rosy Higgins’ Spider-Man redesign is awesome. This is the kind of costume a kid could actually put together. Plus those boxer boots are fucking amazing.

I have been waiting for someone to call this out for SO FUCKING LONG, especially on the Miles Morales point. There are times where I am ashamed of my culture. This is abundantly one of those times. There is absolutely nothing to be ruined by changing the race/gender of a comic character. Nothing.
